In the first listen, you can make out that the song is right up his alley and Shreya makes the song worth a hear. Shreya Ghoshal��s voice and passionate singing ups the number. Ankit strikes again with the melodious 'Jab Tum Hote Ho'. Pleasingly emotional and yet, not even half as fabulous as the previous one. Though Nautiyal and his co-singer Aakanksha Sharma are in top form, the song is just about alright. Of course, it sets the bar high and hence, the composer is relatively underwhelming in the next track he��s given �� Jubin Nautiyal's 'Dhal Jaun Main'. The singing is sensational and both Arijit Singh and Palak Muchhal fit the song perfectly. He gives the song a hint of the quaint, old-world charm but also the depth that listeners of today relate to. Jeet Gannguli is the perfect man to compose 'Dekha Hazaro Dafaa'. His tunes are average and though the singing is top notch, there is nothing catching enough to write about it.

Sukriti Kakkar and Jasraj Joshi do a great job but it is the instrumental version which is the best of the lot and has the deepest impact on the listener. The song has four different versions but Sachar carefully layers them so that the beats reflect the film's vibe �� mystery. Raghav Sachar gives the film��s title track some depth. Despite the minimal instrumentation and some sincere singing, the version is a damp squib. It finds a twin later, but the reprise doesn��t work as well Arko's voice is great but lacks the energy of the original. His intoxicating voice makes this the album's best track. Manoj Muntashir's words ooze romance and Atif Aslam's voice breathes life into them. Though composer Arko is blamed for playing safe often, this particular creation of his is a gem. ' Tere Sang Yaara' is a chartbuster from the word go. The composers have created some spectacular beats, soothing tracks and memorable ditties that will find a place in your playlist. This is precisely why the music of 'Rustom' impresses. It has every possible crowd-pleasing element �� drama, suspense, thrill �� but the scope of music could be slim. Making a film based on a real-life incident that shook the nation is a tempting idea.
